Our principals should study and research more further how to enhance the quality of education in our country.
The quality output we expect from the school depends upon the quality of school head assigned.A school head needs to possess the managerial skills. Moreover,he/she is a good manager and a leader.
Much better, if a head is more knowledgeable compared to his/her teachers.He leads, manages and supervises everything for the betterment of the school.
I would like to comment the qualification of a principal which is to pass the examinations. We must remember that there are 2 kinds of individual, one who is good in written works and the other he maybe be poor in written but he's a good leader. Take the case of those who passed the qualifying exam for principals, were they able to lead the school where they are assigned right now? Some are very proud that they passed the exams but look at they can't even help/assist their teachers. I think the DepEd should look into this matter that the examination is just 1 of the criteria to be a principal but they should look into the work of an individual.
I think all principals must have a doctoral degree, before they become a full pledge principal.

Congratulations sa mga pumasang guro sa Principal's Exam na ibinigay last year. Sana pagbutihan niyo pa ang pagtuturo sa ating mga pampublikong paaralan. Mas kailangan nang ating bansa ngayon ang mga tapat at malilinis na tao. Dapat ang ituturo ngayon ay kung paano maging marangal ang isang tao para maiwasan ang korapsyon na siyang sumisira sa ating bayan.

I agree to this comment tama po dapat po suriin ng mabuti ang gawa/trabaho ng isang principal hindi dapat mag rely doon sa pakapasa ng neap exam kasi marami po ay naswertihan lng pumasa without managerial knowledge ang labas ng management sa school pastamba lang an even without masters degree.kawawa naman ng mataga na as head teacher na mga 1 point or 3 points na lang sana pasado na s exam ng neap.Sana po mabigyan naman ng pansin ito ng mga nasa taas kawawa naman sila.

One of the basic requirement before a teacher can take the Principal's Test : => MUST be a Masteral Degree holder.
Dito sa Pangasinan II karamihan ng principal at Master Teacher bumili ng Masteral's Degree ang yayabang pa lalo na yung mga Zaragoza College at sa Luna College nagshopping.
there were many OIC's and TIC's who were not principal passers. Why not give the position to those who passed and qualified themselves. Yes, it is said that it is not what u know but whom u know.. this is the present system in education... here in the division of iloilo.. sana pag bigyan pansin and solve the problem.. it's better to reshaffle those in the higher position ...

Dpat cguraduhin ng deped na mkapwesto agad as principal 1 ang mga nkapasa sa nqesh. Dpat dati ng may nkalaan na item sa kanila para may silbi nman ang knilang paghihirap para mkapaghanda lamang sa exam. Congratulations sa lahat ng nakapasa. God bless u all! Good luck!Be a gud lider.
Ang importante sa school head ay HONESTY. Marami na ngayong school head na walang pakialam sa school improvement. Importante sa kanila kung paano ubusin ang MOOE sa sariling interest lang.
Tama yan. Dapat e reshaffle. Kaya lang walang magagawa si deped lalo na kung tuta ni politician. Lalo na dito sa leyte.

Ang laking TAMA. Talagang walang magagawa ang Deped lalo na kung nakasandal kay congressman. Kahit si ombudsman wala ring magawa. Lalo na dito sa carigara.

There were many OIC's and TIC's who were not principal exampassers in fact there were many principal exams passers who were not assigned as OIC's and TIC's...Why not give chance to those who were elligible/ What's the use of the Principal Exam?

True... Passing the NQUESH is not the basis for me of having a good and quality leader in a school.Good performance must be consider and I think this is the best qualifying criteria for a Principal position.

Why not remove Principals' test as basis to become a head. It is a barrier to those potential teacher to become one. Many posses very good leadership and managerial skills but failed in this exam. Sorry to say na maraming passers na di naman masyadong magaling mag manage ng school.
I would suggest that in selecting School Head it will be the SDS will pick. Afterall, SDS knows who are performing well in the field.
